Seven years ago, your Uncle Elliot disappeared under somewhat mysterious circumstances. Now, he has been legally presumed to be dead and you have been identified as his heir.

Your uncle, however, specified some rather unusual requirements that you will have to meet in order to claim your inheritance. This whole thing seems a bit suspicious. What's really going on here? What happened to Uncle Elliot seven years ago? What's with the elaborate procedure you have to follow in order to claim your inheritance?

The answers to all of these questions and more can be found as you explore Uncle Elliot's Study.

This is a narrative puzzle game that can be thought of as a mashup of a tabletop roleplaying game, an escape room, and a text adventure game.

During the game, one person will assume the role of the game master. The other will be the player. As you play, you will work together to tell a puzzle-filled story.

The game master's job is to describe the setting, narrate the plot, and portray any non-player characters that appear in the story.

The player's job is to portray the main character. They will describe how their character interacts with the setting and responds to the events that unfold therein.

The game materials include everything you need to enjoy your adventure together. They include: a script the game master can use to introduce each part of the story, a detailed description of Uncle Elliot's study, complete solutions to all of the puzzles the player will need to solve, and eight handouts that depict various items that can be found in the study.

Uncle Elliot's Study is a two-player game that can be played in about one hour. While it contains no adult content, the puzzles may be difficult for younger players to solve. As such, this game is intended for players who are at least twelve years old.
